The phone system that fits in a van

For a trade business, the phone is the order book. Every missed call while you're elbow-deep in a boiler is a job that went to the next name on Google.

wlur puts a proper business number on the phone in your pocket. Ring the office first, then the van. Read the voicemail on site. Text your quote from the same number.

Missed calls are missed jobs

Miss ten calls a week. At a 20% booking rate and £180 average job, that's roughly £1,870 a month walking away. Routing to a second phone plus readable voicemail claws most of it back.

One number on the van, forever

The number's on the van wrap, the fridge magnets and eight years of invoices. Porting it in means keeping the number and finally getting hours, routing and voicemail behind it.

Quotes by text get read

Customers screen calls but read texts. Sending the quote from the business number keeps the thread with the job, visible to you and the office.

The 3-person firm setup

Office number rings the office phone for 10 seconds, then both vans at once. Nobody free: a short greeting and voicemail, transcribed and texted back to everyone.

Evenings and weekends go straight to voicemail, except the on-call phone if you run one. Change it from the app, not a portal.

What it costs

Three people at $15/user (about £12.50) is roughly £37.50/month. A comparable UK setup on CircleLoop's unlimited plan is £45/month (July 2026). Traditional landline-plus-divert setups usually cost more, and transcribe nothing.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not techy. How hard is setup?

Pick a number (or port yours), download the app, choose who rings in what order. It's a ten-minute job with no hardware. Support is a human by email, if you get stuck.

Does it work with bad signal on site?

Calls run over data or wi-fi, whichever is better where you're standing. If you're truly out of coverage, calls follow your fallback: the office, then voicemail. The customer never hears dead air.

Do I need the CRM stuff?

No. Plenty of trade firms run wlur standalone: the call log, texts and voicemail transcripts are the record. If you later use a job-management tool, Zapier can connect it.
