Answer with the order already on screen

Store phone calls are 80% one question: where is my order? Answering it well takes context. That context lives in Shopify, not in whoever picked up.

wlur matches inbound callers to their customer record. It shows the latest order as the phone rings. The call takes half as long. The conversation logs to the customer for next time.

Support context lives in another tab

Ringing phone, frantic order-number search, customer repeating themselves. Screen-pop with order status turns a three-minute scramble into a twenty-second answer.

A phone number raises conversion, but it's scary

Shoppers trust stores they could call. A business number with hours, voicemail transcription and a shared inbox makes publishing one survivable for a two-person brand.

Delivery updates want to be texts

"Your order shipped" as an SMS from the store's number gets read in minutes. It keeps replies in one thread the whole team sees.

The 2-founder store setup

One store number on the site, ringing both founders 9 to 6. Callers match to Shopify customers automatically. Unknown numbers still ring through.

After hours: voicemail with transcription, posted to Slack. Shipping-day texts go from the same number, so customers reply to a line you actually watch.

What it costs

Two founders at $15/user is $30/month ($24 annual) with the Shopify integration included. Comparable order-context calling elsewhere means a helpdesk suite plus a VoIP seat. That's typically $50+ per person before add-ons (July 2026 pricing across major tools).

Frequently asked questions

Does wlur edit orders or issue refunds?

No. It reads customers and order status, to answer calls well. It also writes timeline events. Refunds and edits stay in Shopify admin, where they belong.

What about customers who checkout without a phone number?

They won't auto-match. The call rings through as an unknown number. You search by name or email in Shopify, as usual. Stores that collect phone at checkout match most calls.

Can I text order updates in bulk?

wlur texting is conversational, one thread per customer, not a bulk campaign tool. For 1-to-1 "it shipped today" or "item's back in stock" messages, it's exactly right. For blast marketing, use a dedicated SMS platform.
