wlur posts phone events into Slack. That's missed calls with caller context, voicemail transcripts you can read in the channel, and inbound texts on shared numbers. Small teams already live in Slack. The phone should report there too.

What it looks like day to day
The missed-call channel
#phone gets every missed business call as a message: number, CRM name if matched, which line they called. Someone reacts with 👀 to claim the callback.
Missed calls become visible team work instead of a badge nobody checks.
Voicemail triage in the open
Out-of-hours voicemails post transcripts to the channel overnight. The 9am scan takes a minute: two need calls back, one's spam, done.
The daily digest
One morning message: "Yesterday: 34 calls, 3 missed (2 called back), 12 texts, busiest hour 10 to 11." The team knows how the phone went without opening a dashboard.

- ·Slack is notify-only today: you can't place calls or reply to texts from Slack yet.
- ·Channel mapping is per number, so the sales line and support line post to different channels.
- ·Private channels work. Invite the wlur app to the channel first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reply to texts from Slack?
Not today. Replying happens in the wlur app, one tap from the notification. Two-way Slack replies are on the roadmap and honestly labelled as such.
Will this get noisy?
You choose the events. Most teams post missed calls and voicemails only, skip answered calls, and add the daily digest. A 5-person team typically sees a handful of messages a day.
Does it work with the free Slack plan?
Yes. Messages come from a standard Slack app integration, which free workspaces support. Slack's 90-day history limit on free plans applies to these messages like any others (as of July 2026).
