JustCall vs Aircall: sales dialer or call centre platform

By Matt Smith · Last verified: July 2026

Outbound sales teams that want a dialer and SMS bundled in one tool tend to prefer JustCall. It starts from $29/user/month with a 2-seat minimum (Jul 2026). Teams running an inbound support queue lean toward Aircall, from $30/user/month with a 3-seat floor (Jul 2026). The overlap is real, but the emphasis differs.

Credit where due

JustCall built its product around outbound sales: auto-dialers, sales cadences, and SMS as a first-class channel alongside voice. Its Team plan includes 500 SMS segments and unlimited Europe outbound minutes at $29/user/month. It also supports 100+ CRM integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho out of the box, per JustCall's pricing page (Jul 2026).

Aircall is the stronger choice once the job is managing an inbound queue rather than dialing out. Skills-based routing, live call monitoring (whisper and barge), and Salesforce CTI on the Professional plan give supervisors visibility. JustCall's dialer-first design doesn't prioritise that in the same way.

Dialer-first vs queue-first design

JustCall's interface centres on the dialer. Cadences, auto-dial lists, and click-to-call from a CRM record are the default workflow. That's built for a rep working through an outbound list, not a supervisor watching an inbound queue.

Aircall flips the emphasis. Its queue view, live monitoring, and whisper/barge tools exist because the default workflow assumes calls arrive and need routing to the right available agent. Both tools handle the other direction, but neither treats it as the primary job.

AI dialing vs AI call assist

JustCall's AI Voice Agent is a standalone product. It's a bot that can place or answer calls on its own, priced from $99/month for 100 included minutes, or $0.99/minute pay-as-you-go, per JustCall's pricing page (Jul 2026). It's built to replace a human on repetitive calls, not assist one.

Aircall's AI Assist works alongside a human agent already on the call. It offers live transcription, sentiment analysis, and automatic CRM logging, included from the Professional plan. The two products solve adjacent but different problems, and the pricing models (flat feature vs metered minutes) reflect that.

Where the seat minimum actually bites

JustCall's 2-seat minimum on Team means a genuinely tiny team (1 person) can't get in at all. The effective floor is $58/month. Aircall's 3-seat minimum pushes that floor to $90/month on Essentials.

Neither is built for a true solo operator. Both providers are clear that their pricing assumes at least a small team. That matters if you're evaluating either tool below 3 people.

Choose JustCall if…

  • You run outbound sales cadences and want dialer, SMS and CRM logging in one tool
  • You need unlimited European outbound minutes bundled into the base plan
  • You want a standalone AI voice agent product, not just an AI assist feature
  • Your CRM isn't Salesforce or HubSpot; JustCall's 100+ integrations cover more niche tools

Choose Aircall if…

  • You're managing an inbound support or sales queue that needs skills-based routing
  • You need a supervisor to whisper or barge into live calls for coaching
  • You want Salesforce CTI-depth logging, not just activity sync
  • You need coverage in 180+ countries via WhatsApp messaging

A disclosed aside

If you're a team of 1 to 5, both JustCall's 2-seat minimum and Aircall's 3-seat minimum can force you to pay for capacity you don't have. wlur is built for that smaller team size. It's live now at $15/user/month with no minimums, and you can try it free for 7 days, no card required. It's our product, so grade accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use JustCall with just one seat?

No. JustCall's Team, Pro and Pro Plus plans all carry a 2-seat minimum, per JustCall's pricing page (Jul 2026). A solo user pays for two seats, regardless of headcount.

Is Aircall's AI Voice Agent the same as JustCall's?

No. Both offer an autonomous AI calling product, but pricing and positioning differ. Aircall bundles free monthly minutes, then bills tiered bundles. JustCall offers a flat monthly plan ($99-249) or pay-as-you-go at $0.99/minute, per each provider's pricing page (Jul 2026).

Which has more CRM integrations?

JustCall advertises 100+ native CRM and data integrations. Aircall lists 250+ integrations and an open API. Its deepest CRM integration (Salesforce CTI) requires the Professional plan or above.

Does JustCall support international calling?

Yes. Local numbers are available in 70+ countries. Add-on number bundles for the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain and Australia are priced from $75-200/month, per JustCall's pricing page (Jul 2026).

Which is cheaper for a 5-person team?

JustCall's Team plan at $29/user/month works out to $145/month for 5 seats. Aircall's Essentials at $30/user/month works out to $150/month for the same headcount. They land within a few dollars of each other, per each provider's pricing page (Jul 2026).

Does either offer live call coaching?

Aircall's whisper and barge features on Professional and above let a supervisor listen in and coach live. JustCall offers call coaching tools on higher tiers, but doesn't market live whisper/barge as prominently.
